Business Health-Checks
Access Legal rises above its competition by providing its
clients with a unique approach to legal business services...
Before commencing to work with our clients we start by getting a thorough
understanding our clients situation by conducting a Business Evaluation Audit or
Health Check.
Through years of experience we have devised a proactive approach to minimise
risk and maximise commercial opportunities. This is applied to key areas such as
client, employee and general contracts, adherence to regulation, relationships
with partners, business structuring, intellectual property and taxation
issues.
As part of our risk minimisation program, Access Legal has devised the ACCESShealth-check . The health
check covers 10 key areas that include:
- Compliance with current and emerging regulation
- Marketing and collateral
- Systems and procedures
- Employees and contractors
- Intellectual Property
- Business Development
- Suppliers and Business Partners
- Current Contractual commitments
- Company documents
- Trade secrets and confidential information
Our thorough examination of these 10 key areas allows us to uncover any areas
of exposure and make recommendations about how these areas can be addressed to
ensure that the business is not diverted from its core functions by annoying and
expensive legal issues.
The health-check also allows us to identify crucial areas of hidden
opportunity within the finance broking business to ensure optimised value. It is
like a health check for your business.
The health-check is undertaken by a team of lawyers and legal staff who
thoroughly examine the key areas of your business, and provide an analysis of
your current situation.
The results of the health-check are presented in a bound format, and you will
also be taken through the results personally by a lawyer who will explain the
impact of any areas of exposure and assist you to form an action plan.
Once the health-check is complete, the control will be handed back to you to
decide whether you wish to address any of the issues uncovered, and your own
priorities in relation to these.
An action plan is created to address the situation, with the prioritization
of the action plan based on budgetary constraints and importance factors.
The objective is to empower our clients through awareness. By identifying
areas of exposure, it allows them to make informed decisions about the actions
and the services that they would like to employ. It is essentially the first
step into the process of continuous improvement.
